Port Ain Sukhna

The Ain Sukhna terminal is equipped with 4 SBMs (single mooring buoys) capable of handling vessels up to 565 000 DWT. Ain Sukhna is a private port controlled by SUMED and situated 54 km south of Suez. There, crude oil is offloaded from ships that are too large to enter the Suez Canal fully loaded. Pipelines pump the oil to Sidi Kerir.
